Me being the most unlucky person in the world?!?!(very sad)

My father paid well over HKD 100,000 (more than NTD 400,000) to go on a cruise.It was a very large and luxurious ship.It was called Costa Concordia.It crashed on the 13th January.

Originally,I would go to the airport on 20 Jan for the flight at 11:57pm from Hong Kong to Milan.I have also exchanged a lot of European money.And European money is getting cheaper now.We can now only get back half of the value of the air tickets which were worth HKD7000 (about NTD27000) before.We lost HKD17500(NTD 67500) here.

There is also an alternative tour,but it is only worth about 50% of the original cruise.We decided to postpone the air tickets by half year and use them during the summer vacation.Since my parents have already had they holidays,we are now looking for another tour in a rush,maybe to Japan or Beijing......

Some think that I am lucky because if the accident happens one week later,I may not have a chance to come here anyone.What do you think?Am I lucky or not??
